Michael Latham worked with the Education Development Trust (formerly known as the CFBT Education Trust) commencing in 1982. Over the past four decades he has worked in Asia, Africa and the USA/Caribbean in an operational and business development capacity. He worked for a decade in SE Asia first as an ESL teacher in SE Asia. He has presented numerous papers and conducted training on behalf of the UN, the Institute for Development Studies, the World Bank Institute, the ADB and Harvard’s JFK School of Government. He has had a very interesting and varied portfolio of work in within the South and South East Asia region, including being the lead expert exploring areas for strategic development of Public Private Partnerships in Education and Training in South Asia, one of the components of the ADB’s Innovative Strategies for Accelerated Human Resource Development and as the team leader for the UK Government’s South Asia Research Hub on projects that involved looking into school provision in urban centres in South Asia.

Floriane Clement is a researcher at the French National Research Institute on Agriculture, Food and Environment (INRAE), based in Toulouse, France. She has been studying environmental governance and environmental justice issues. She is interested in participatory action research methods, like using participatory video for multi-stakeholder deliberative dialogues. She lived and worked in Southeast and South Asia for more than 10 years.

He has many award winning productions to his credit. He is interested in exploring further potentials offered by the medium towards the benefit of a wider section of the society, using video as a tool.
